Rosa multiflora [Many-flowered rose]

Habit: Fast growing shrub, deciduous, 3-5 m high.
Foliage: Deciduous, alternate, imparipinnate, 5-10 cm long, 7 to 9 elliptic or obovate leaflets, 2 to 3 cm long, glossy above, matt beneath remain on the shrub late into autumn.
Flower: White, up to 2 cm wide, in conical panicles, strong scent of honey; June to July.
Site: Sun/light shade, hardy and robust, wind and frost tolerant.
Use: Wildlife plantings, windbreaks etc.
